As I said, I don't see them as weak, tender, no idea if they are graceful. Haven't met even one of them in real life. I am certain that they don't need a champion, and no doubt, more than one of them will be slightly irritated with me for stepping in. I am not anyone's champion, I was not asked to be, and I didn't offer. I don't want the job.
I can't show you in the scriptures where the Pope is given any authority. Nor do I consider it relevant. A Christian is one who believes in the teachings of Christ. I also believe that a Christian should do their best to emulate the behavior of the one who they claim to follow. Being a Christian, or any other spiritual following, should require more than being able to quote scripture. There should be some semblance of behavior that suggests that the scripture actually meant something as reflected in their behavior.
I am not Christ and am far from being perfect.
And I am sure that if you asked these "(um...ladies)" as you say, they would indicate that they too are not Christ, and nor or they perfect. So really it is a matter of degree that you are talking about isn't it.

In the grand scheme of things, I doubt that this conversation will have any effect on either you or me. I care, but certainly not enough to try and "fool" anybody about anything.

I told you my agenda. I can show you through past messages on SI that I am very consistent in my behavior when it comes to bullies. I don't do it because I am asked to do it. I don't do it because I like to protect people. I do it because I think that your behavior is disgusting and an affront to humanity and the beliefs that you profess to espouse.
So where is the "slander" (sic)? Are you telling me that you took issue with someone slandering your faith by slandering that person?
They have a word for that.
As to me being a Christian. I am sure that I don't meet your definition, but I consider myself to be. The fact that you could have an opinion on what my beliefs are, is absurd. |
