Hi LABMAN;
Here is Peter Hunt's response to the news on BAAN

Some of you will have seen today's news about the Q4 Profit Warning issued by the Baan software company, the resignation of its CEO and the subsequent slide in its share price.

On the 29th of November, we announced our proposal for Net Shepherd, ClickChoice and the Vanenburg Group to join forces to create a new Internet information company
(http://www.netshepherd.com/current_news/breaking_news/dynamic.asp?id=74
<http://www.netshepherd.com/current_news/breaking_news/dynamic.asp?id=74> ).

That announcement included the news that Jan Baan, the founder of Baan software, would be proposed as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the new company.

In response to queries received, we would like to make sure that it is clearly understood that Jan Baan holds no management positions in the company that he founded and has not done so for some time.

We do not expect today's news to have any influence on our proposed enhanced business transaction, as outlined in our announcement of November 29th.

Regards,

Peter Hunt
