This is why the arguments that insist on going to limit cases and comparing bigotries as a form of argument strike me as so futile and eventually beside the point. Goodness is goodness, regardless of its guise. That horrible things have been done throughout the ages, since the dawn of mankind it appears, in the name of beliefs (religious, political, whatever) cannot obliterate every act of goodness, cannot even obliterate every act whose intention was and is good.

If there is a God and if there is some sort of judgement, then I trust an omniscient God to be precisely that--omniscient. If there is not, then a good life simply speaks for itself.
