IDC's Global Tracking: do know it has been put to the test in conjunction with the US
government (military) for what it's worth. the system works well in a CDMA
environment and is cost effective for the right application

good article:

"It also remains to be seen whether Qualcomm can make good on its earlier
promises to expand beyond its CDMA-based chipset niche and become a
broad-line supplier of wireless ICs, software, and design services for OEMs"

this is exactly where IDC is currently at. where they've been for three years

Video "I figure this bodes well for IDC's position in the WCDMA/BCDMA standard."

it does. if only the most of the market could read. IDC's technology is included as
"essential" in the WCDMA IMT2000 standard. NEC is signing agreements with IDC
as well you can put your eggs in that basket.
