I much enjoyed my last tooth cleaning for the same reason. But it would take a most peculiar variety of kinkiness to enjoy having my excellent grizzly Jewish dentist clean out your post-root-canal temporary filling, insert and cement posts into the root canals, pack in compound, grind down the outside of the tooth, and glue a temporary crown on top. And then the price was about 30% more than I expected. To judge from automobile repair bills, private college tuition, and medical and dental fees, inflation has already hit in a big way. Only the farmers and the OPEC citizens have been subsidizing us all with their cheap products, and easy credit has freed money for speculation. The screwing of the farmer, in particular, is similar to the 1920s. How about Greenspan's accepting his reappointment with enthusiasm? He really thinks he has done the most wonderful things.
