Another reason Market going back up - early 2000 should be the biggest boom period ever for delayed computer, software service and related expenditures due to Y2K worries. This will especially help value stocks in the area like IBM, UIS, CPQ, DD stocks, etc., stocks which haven't participated much in recent rallies.

Also, technology advances and expansion globally all but guarantee massive profits for related companies going forward. Ditto for OLB's as stock trading fever gets even more intense globally even on down days like today.

Expect little corrections like this, even violent ones, but in the longer run they are just burn-offs which set proper bases for the market to go even higher.

Still stock trading is all in the timing. Taking your profits at peaks and trying to buy at lows. You can't pick them right all the time but if you're right more than half the time you will make money.
