This may sound silly, but how is trading AH risky if you are using limit orders?

P.S. I am not a big afterhours trader by any stretch of the word. Have only bought stocks once or twice AH when they closed weak and I missed buying them at that price. It's always worked out for me ... I think somehow that E-trade's AH system is not that great (and welcome comments on this).
