I'm sorry but
======= IT IS THE CHRISTIAN FAITH =======
It is what makes the true faith differ from all the man made religions in the world..
Let me see if you can hear this:
1. Men do not truly "worship" idols they attempt to manipulate them into granting them what they want.
2. In order to "manipulate" these idols they must grant them something they may want in order to cause them to "owe" them something in return. Merit.
3. They ask these Idols to grant many things from the obvious " Riches, Entertainment, Beautiful ( outward) Wife... to the not as obvious... works centered assurance of salvation, Health, offspring for ones own benefit... for completely selfish reasons.
4. They do not need to take "NO" from an Idol and need only try harder and be patient. gOD seeks their "happiness but never true righteousness"
5. They in the end must get the credit for being "righteous or saved" although they will grant God back that glory as yet another "good deed"..
It goes like this " I give you all the Glory... that I had to give..so it was mine to start... What a nice guy I am to give you the glory...glory... glory in the flesh etc.
Men can not GIVE God anything especially "The Glory"
They can only recognize aright that it is God who is being Glorified to start with in anything and it is but God's Grace and Sovereign Choice that saves...
I honestly believe before God that the "Gospel" of FREE-WILL is not GOOD NEWS at all and indeed is "Another Gospel" which is not the Gospel at All but a false Gospel that the Devil uses to assure unsaved men of salvation and to take away the true assurance that God grants His beloved concerning "Perserverance"
Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
Who "began" the work in those who are saved... themselves in a decision in the flesh?
That is the same "stuff" every other religion on earth is made of.
The "Islamic" faith for instance does not believe that we are born with the sentence of death upon us as sinners.. they think babies are born innocent. Many cults believe we are born with a blank slate and the power to do right or wrong.
The Bible says we have "NO POWER" to do even ONE THING RIGHT or pleasing to GOD !
Does "Accepting Jesus" please God? Is it done in the flesh before salvation?
Islamic "faith" teaches that God would never send a curse on anyone other than the one who did the sin. They will publicly deny that anyone is condemned before being born or doing anything evil...
The Bible teaches that all men died in Adam and unless they are "Adopted by God" they will perish in either/both Adam's sin and their own.
Islamic "faith" teaches that God could forgive without a sacrifice in Christ. That God will forgive anyone who asks apart from the sacrifice of Christ. God loves everyone.
The Bible teaches that God loves the elect only.. and He love them only in Christ and not of or because of any works of righteousness we have done including "asking for forgiveness, or prayer, or accepting Him" ( although those things are not wrong of themselves they are not saving works.)God hates the wicked and will punish them for sin in hell forever ( time without end )
Islamic and all other "faiths" base Salvation on an act of the human will.
The TRUE CHRISTIAN FAITH bases Salvation purely on the Act of GOD's WILL!
You want me to give that a "break".. I would die first before I give the Glory to men in their fleshly decisions for Christ!
1 Peter 2:4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,
5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
Haqi.. if God did not choose you.. you are not saved!
Did you "accept" Jesus because you were saved by HIM
