Welcome to the digital revolution. And the US owns the internet, most telcos, computers, software, satellites, most planes, weapons, etc.. Therefore our tech companies own the future. That's what the US makes and whole world has no choice but to buy. Yes cheap labor is now overseas but the profits largely come back here.

If you like, cyclicals are still very cheap. Those stocks have gone nowhere. If anyone would buy them they'd be great values.

And by the way, I make products which sell internationally. Movies. Another thing America makes better than anyone.
Movies and TV. Yes I have a day-job and most of us do.

Don't worry, the sky is not falling. Just some overdue profit-taking in the high-fliers which brought a lot of other stocks down too. Typical early january action. The market probably needed it. And if it ends here at least we got it over with for awhile. And if it scares a few unqualified traders into getting out, fine.

I'm hanging in there. Aren't you?
