JDSU is a fibre optic component supplier. They sell to Lucent, Nortel and Cisco. Soon they will be selling to all the cable cos.

I am not familiar with LMDS. What do they make. JDSU is the largest supplier of these components. They are 50% bigger than all of the competitors and they are growing 50% faster. They can not keep up with demand and are expanding mfg as fast as they can.

Sorry for the off topic comments. I am still long CPQ and think they will do very well in 2000. Hopefully well enough to make me some money.<g>
