Corel joins a growing list of DOGS.

What does Corel have in common with Softkey, Fulcrum, Milkyway, Softquad, and PC DOCS? If you follow any of these Canadian software dogs you would know that their share price is well off their high and they have little or no earnings (some of these companies are actually cashflow negative). However, Corel is the only "dog" that has a market cap below its yearly sales level. (Sales are in $Can and annualized from the most recent quarterly results).

.... SALES .... MC .... MC/SALES

Milkyway ....$ 6 .... $ 38 .... 6.3
PC DOCS ....$ 96 .... $172 .... 1.8
Softquad ....$ 16 .... $ 28 .... 1.8
Fulcrum ....$ 60 .... $ 75 .... 1.3
Softkey ....$500 .... $535 .... 1.1
Corel ....$528 .... $436 .... 0.8

Based on my humble opinion, I believe Corel is the best "dog" of the above dogs. This opinion is based on the quality of their products and the higher profile of Corel. Why has the market seen fit to punish Corel more then other software companies in a similar (or much worst) position?
