Appreciate the feedback on G* Cosmo....where you been? You paint an attractive picture. Nevertheless, I remember discussion on the G* thread about transmission clarity under trees, in buildings, between tall skyscrapers, etc. While Gilder says "beta testing is going well", how do we know? It was also my understanding last year that the use of the present satellite system/handsets will be for voice only........not data. Has that changed? Exactly when will it be used for data transmission? You did teach me one thing I didn't realize. That is, that the system will get revenues from "satellite roaming" by land-based wireless systems.
