The ability to call from anywhere is a very powerful, unique and valuable service. $1.5 a minute is peanuts if you can complete a critical call. There are plenty of people in the US and the world who can afford to pay that. Imagine you are in a cellular dead spot and have to make a trade that could make you thousands of dollars how much would you be willing to spend?
