Possible suitors? Not Macromedia...they would only buy THW to crush it. Adobe seems logical, but it they wanted THW, they would have bought it a year ago. The most logical would be a company wanting to cobble together a mish-mash of internet development tools focused on market-- internet developers--rather than functionality or platform. See the following announcement of one such nascent enterprise: a partnership between BEA/ and investment banker Warburg, Pincus which just bought Symantec's Visual Cafe suite: biz.yahoo.com
