RE>>She is co-redeemer with Christ<<
They had to get rid of "Adamic Sin" so she herself "if" sinful could not Genetically have a son { even } *if* Joseph was not the father that would not be Adams seed. They needed to "clean-up" the Virgin so that her "egg" would not transmit the sin of Adam to Jesus or then Jesus Himself would not be born Without Sin
All men agree Monu that Jesus did not have an earthly father after the "flesh" but they disagree about Jesus having an earthly mother after the "flesh"
All men agree that Joseph "adopted" Jesus and Jesus obeyed the 5th commandment toward Joseph and Mary as being His "authorities" and parents as a sinless child. ( The incident at 12 years of age is very telling however concerning obeying the 5th command )
Did not however Mary "also adopt Jesus"?
Is Jesus really "Mary's son"???
Was Jesus really David's son???
Matthew 22:45 If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?
Jesus came as "David's Son" as Joseph's son yet Jesus confused these men who denied His true Father was in heaven and who did not understand that the promise of the "seed" was not according to flesh but according to adoption even as we who are adopted sons.
Matthew 22:42 Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The Son of David. 43 He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying,
Matthew 22:45 If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?
1 Corinthians 15:47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
The only time Jesus was called the "son of Mary" was by those who sought to deny He was from heaven.
In any event.. and I can speak much to argue about whose son men think Jesus is. I think you do well to see that Jesus is indeed the Son of God.
I doubt you think Jesus "Inherited Original Sin" from Mary.. so the question is not that critical to you anyway.
Did you ever think about this... That Mary had a least 7 children in her home? The Bible does not say how many sisters Jesus had but it is a minimum of two being plural. Jesus had 4 brothers who were born of Mary's "eggs"
If Mary had an equal number of girls and boys there were 10 children in the home Jesus grew up in.
I think large families are one of God's Greatest Gifts.
Jesus also agrees.
Yet Rome teaches that Mary and Joseph never ever had sex !
However we need guard ourselves.
1 Corinthians 4:7 For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?
We must all say..
Jew and Gentile alike... Except for the Pure and Free Grace of God... That could be any one of us! |
