Jay, my understanding is that Nokia had software problems and Qualcomm helped them out with making things work. I think their ASICs were not too successful either.

Maybe things have changed already. I'm sure they will and Nokia will be a huge CDMA seller, presumably the market leader leveraging their design, manufacturing and marketing strength into this new field.

I can think of no reason why Nokia can't do better than anyone else in the world at selling CDMA handsets [though they won't do well in Japan and probably not in Korea].
