Happy New Year, Bruce.

I assume you're still "in" TRND? I ended up making several purchases under $1.50 through Nov/Dec. while one of the (few) fund holders was liquidating. I guess they needed the loss, since selling at what looks like a fairly safe bottom and into TRND's return to profitable growth defies logic, IMO.

So now I have this huge pile of practically worthless paper with a cost basis under $1.90 but I'm content to sit and wait a while. TRND is my micro-cap sleeper for 2000.

In 12 months this could be a $10+ stock...or it could be a $2 stock. I think it all depends on how well they execute the b-plan, and what, if any, meaningful presence they establish on the web to round out their "bricks, pics (catalog) and clicks" strategy. Oh, a resumption of analyst coverage wouldn't hurt the cause either<gg>!!

I plan to speak with them following the earnings announcement due out later this week or next (if you have any questions you'd like me to present, fire away!).

Wishing you a happy, healthy and prosperous 2000!
