I really commend you. Even so I am not using that strategy. If I had more margin in my account however I'd be selling puts like crazy on a day like today. That would be how I'd "make up" the loss. I prefer that because buying puts and calls means I don't know what I really think--it'll go up? it'll go down--and I may waste money. But if I see it go down and sell puts then I make it back.

I'm sure Teflon and Edamo are selling lots of puts today!!!
