Absolutely agree with Joe Bosco.

There were lot of pent up demand to crystallize the gains and take it in 2000 that really should/could have been taken in 1999. Probably lot of people made so much money on the market that they deferred their sale to 2000.

Besides, other than few large caps and tech stocks, Dow has NOT gone up that much..............there are lot of normal valuations out there.

This is good in my opinion as it will purge the market and put it on course for more stable growth -- in fact additional sell off (especially in the internet sector) will be positive imo since lot of that money will probably end up with LU, NT & CSCO eventually.
