take the solicitation down to their house, knock on their door. when they open say, "hi, i'm august from two doors down. i received this solicitation in the mail. while i don't care to donate money to this cause, i thought it'd be nice if we at least introduced ourselves". (you'll look and feel like a million damn dollars!) <g3> reminds me of the old story about the fellow sweeping out the back of a moving van. the little old lady from across the street saw this and in no time at all, she was over there with a warm apple pie and a big smile. "welcome to the neighborhood, young man", she greeted him. "uh, i'm not moving in, ma'am, i'm moving out", came his reply. :) mark
