I think Intel will be lucky to sell 250,000 Itanium processors in Q4, and that Alpha will be doing better than Itanium at that time (both in terms of performance and unit sales).Willamette is the threat. I suspect that it will come out much earlier than anyone suspects.

Pravin, what do you think accounts for the large pricing range for the server chips....2k to 6k? The profit margins on these chips must be huge!!

With competition increasing, do you think Intel can still command such prices?
