U 3 crack me up....
Cap'n, in particular, was calling for CPQ to fall below 18 not 2 months ago...instead, we're here.
None of you have had a positive thing to say (because you bought at ridiculously high prices?), yet CPQ has delivered over a 50% return to me already...pretty good in 2 months.
I know you all WANT CPQ to do well....but people do look at these threads for useful information from time to time. When you're trashing a stock - without any meaningful backing - it could scare off some potential investors. Want the stock to rise? Only post the negative stuff when there's real negative information. Just posting things like "MC's a dope" or "shoulda listened to me XXX to the moon!" is worthless. We all have our opinions of CEOs...doesn't mean a hill of beans if the company is performing. We all own other stocks - some do well, others....not so well. Cap'n had (has?) a stock that has performed ridiculously poorly (HDIE)....I did too, but managed to eke out a 50% gain by jumping at the right time. I have 3 stocks that have 400% gains or more this year (still, after the selloff).
That said....what does it get you to post stuff that's negative? Nothing, unless your goal is act in a childlike manner geared towards provocation. I get along w/the Cap'n (I think) because he and I have a shared experience, and he's not such a bad guy.....but Jimbo.......I've kept my mouth pretty tight about you. I'm beginning to think you're bipolar based on your recent posts. Either that, or you're a 16 year old who's just posting here for a goof.
Guys, get with it! I'm not against people who dislike any particular stock...I AM against people who post trash for the sake of posting trash. |
