Dear Yorikke, that is true but so are contrived markets.
If you remember a stock that I had a lot of a few years back they just completed the same type deal. They continued to hit the bid with 100 share lots (nasdaq) day after day trade after trade and knocked the stock down to 1/10th of where it was trading. Huge volumes insued as they bought it all back and squeezed out massive stock. Once that was completed the stock bolted and was a four bagger in 3 days. G&H investments grabbed up the paper , I think they were trained by the Canadians on that one, I even have a player or two in mind. This happens far more often especially on thinner stocks. It would be almost impossible to pull it off on MSFT but very easy to do it on 75% of issues out there....DD
