Established in August 1981 as the first joint venture of Xiamen
City, Xiamen Solid Electronics Company (the former entity of
Amoisonic Electronics) used to be a designated manufacturer of
VCR and laser disc players approved by Chinese government.
For 5 consecutive years, it was the largest manufacturer and
supplier of VCR in China. Amoisonic Electronics Co., Ltd. was
registered in May 1997 and listed in Shanghai Stock Exchange on
June 4th. 1997. AT present its registered capital is RMB 358
million and its total asset has reached RMB 1.1857 billion.

Focus on such fields as digital video, audio and consumer
communication products, Amoisonice has developed three major
product lines: video disc players, home theaters and cordless
telephones. For video disc players, we have formed a
full-fledged product series which includes VCD, SVD and DVD
players, most of them are enjoying leading position in Chinese
market. As to home theaters, Amoisonic vanguard in developing
the first certified Dolby digital and Pro-logic A/V amplifiers in
China, and they have become most popular home theater in the
market. In the meantime, Amoisonic marched into telecom
industry in a high profile by developing the first Digital Cordless
Telephone in China, which aroused profound interest among
end-users the moment it was launched.
