-With the dow up 173 today and Ampexdown, when the market goes down -again, Ampex as usual, will go down with it.

Seems to me that Ampex has more of an inverse relationship with the Dow. Dow goes up-- Ampex goes down, Dow goes down--Ampex goes up. Money leaves big caps when the Dow is down.
