i agree with that 100%. the Fed has ramped up the money supply like never before during the 90's and especially so in the past 3 months. credit excesses in the U.S. are at an all time high: both household debt and corporate debt have recently eclipsed their former highs dating from the 1930's. here's an interesting link regarding credit creation during the past few months:
