A list of things I'd like to see on SI with rationale: 1) Live chat (member to member): There are many individuals on SI that I'd love to chat with and message posting, though good, is slow...later...10 yrs or so when the bandwidth can support it...I'd like live video chats.. 2) Live chat (member to CEO's/Investor Relations Rep): I don't have time to go to any of the shareholder meetings but would love to ask and get some answers to some questions. Could be a means for a given company to tout his/her company to potential investors. 3) Real-time News/Quote ticker...(thanks for bringing real-time quotes) (I'd like the option of being able to have GNET SI servers push the information to me, instead of me having to click all over the place to get the information. While this would be demanding I think it would be a value added enhancement to the site. Do you remember (PCN?) I used to have this screen saver that would automatically download news, weather, quotes, etc...ever so often...(that's what I was thinking of). 4) What about allowing the user to set up the # of messages to download...while 10 is okay...I'd much rather download about 20 or 30 at a time...(this option if taken advantage of would reduce the amount of simultaneous workload on your message server(s) as people would click less frequently). Note: if SI ever did implement Live Chat...we'd have to figure out another way to count posts....since the 11 million plus messages already posted will definately decrease its rate of growth..as more and more get connected and discuss SI stuff via live chatting... That's all for now...would like others thoughts on this...as well as some feedback from SI reps...(PM or out in the open)... TIA Steve M
