The release was made at 6:00 PM EST. SJD property is in Western Ghana next to WGC property which also has great surface results. Both are not that far from GNU's property. Check out WGC website for maps. This will help GNU.

Here is the complete results:

Tue 22 Apr 97 News Release
Mr Michael Terrell reports
The company's diamond drill (core) drilling is under way on its Hwini-Butre
concession in Ghana, West Africa. The drilling has commenced on the
Adoikrom prospect and it is anticipated that approximately 3,000 metres of
drilling will be completed during this program.
Generally, drill results will be released when the exploration manager
reports on a series of intersections. These results, as a group, will be
plotted on sections in a "fence" format. This "fence" format will allow an
overall geological picture to be drawn of the Adoikrom prospect area.
However, in the preliminary stages of this drill program, the exploration
manager elected to more accurately determine the mineralization as defined
by the initial geochemical program. The intention was to test the
mineralization for quality and quantity at depth. As a result, an oblique
hole, designated DG1, was collared at approximately 2550E-392N, at 280
degrees azimuth and a 60 degree west dip. The geology of the Mpohor
Instrusive complex is complicated and deep weathering obliterates all
definable structure to significant depths. Hole DG1 was intended to
intercept the structure at an oblique/acute angle.
Results on the first 100 metres of this drill hole have been received and
evaluated by the St Jude field offices in Ghana. The results have been
reported as being immediately significant. The average grade over the first
100 metres has been reported to average 5.40 g/t Au. Contained within this
zone are some higher grade sections including 7.40 g/t Au over 34 metres
and 9.0 g/t Au over 19 metres. Hole DG1 detailed per metre assay results
using g/t Au are as follows:

DG1 6.29 DG18 9.23 DG35 8.78

In light of the fact that drill hole 1 intersected the core obliquely, it
is not suggested that the true width of the mineralization is in any way
proportionate to the length of the intersection. The width of the
mineralization will be determined by a further series of drill holes which
will attempt to intersect the mineralized zone in a perpendicular fashion.
The drill program continues and further results are expected in
approximately three weeks.
