interesting market response to AMZN's numbers:

Sales were great, profits(sic) were not. No surprise. But what was surprising was that the stock was down on that news. That's a change over the previous pattern. Before, if the sales numbers looked good, the stock went up, and nothing else mattered. Maybe in 2000 investors will begin to say, "gee, sales aren't enough, when are these nuts going to make profits?" A return to sanity?......no, not yet.
