Dave; your frustration is understandable if slightly misplaced.. I may be wrong but I am confident you did not buy your stock from the company in a private placement. Therefore you bought it in the open market like most every one else, so YOUR money didnot go into the coffers of the company but to someone who made a profit on the sale to you through a broker. I agree that the news from all the companies involved in the Chile copper mine etc. have been lackluster in the promoting of the companies/stock and I am sure there is a fairly good reason for it and yes, I would like to know the answer to that question as well.
