Gateway warning--is it not a good thing for stocks like JDSU, QCOM and some others in fast growing sectors.
I would also take it as a positive considering they stated that Y2K fears hurt sales. Maybe it is good for the bond market. At the very least, many may be tempted to reallocate and a lot of this money probably goes to companies that are likely to meet or exceed earnings---that is the high PE stocks.
