Yes, without a doubt, that is EXACTLY what is happening.

You poor, ignorant, fool. I was writing TCP/IP stack code before microsoft ever bothered to include it in their OS. I have more knowledge of the internet in my little finger than you have in your entire body.

And I can tell you, the vast majority of internet companies are designed to do just one thing- sell stock to the public. I live in silicon valley, and I know dozens of people in these companies. You, however, seem to have been reading a lot of science fiction and watching your YHOO stock go up and have an apparent inability to get your head out of your ass and realize we are in a financial mania.

The one thing the internet WILL do effectively is destroy pricing ability. Ever wonder why there's not a single damn company making a profit on the net? You'd think there would be at least _one_ pure play internet company out there making a profit if the medium were going to change everything. Even Yahoo would be in the red if not for their interest income on the 700 million in secondary cash sitting in the bank. Intel/Microsoft/Cisco are the ones making the cash. They are selling the picks and shovels to all the idiots running after fool's gold.

Here's a dime. Please come back when you have purchased a clue.
