Good response - the problem is most of the computer wiz kids have never taken a course in economics. They are in love with the technology, but they do not understand the real economic effect of the internet - there are no really barriers to entry, so margins will be near zero, and thus there will be no huge profits!!! As the industry matures, the barriers (what little there are) will lessen even further - who cares who came first or who lasts longest, they will always be subject to profound pricing pressures (the company, not their stock, at least not yet!).
