Thanks Prophet. You raise some valid points. If we stay contrarian, we can hardly lose. . . it does get difficult when the herd shifts as dramatically as it has. I find it interesting that the market closed today almost right at round numbers, DOW 11,000, S&P 1400, NASDAQ 3900. Remember in October, when they took the Dow right down to an even 10,000, then it took off? That is certainly interesting. . . perhaps they couldn't resist the temptation of showing off? Explain that one to the SEC! So the next question is "what is everyone expecting the market to do?" You cannot predict a manipulated market. . .but with an extra dose of psychology, one can predict what the manipulators may do. . . but it would take studying prior manipulations. Man, is this ever getting heady. . .I'm confusing myself. . . . I think I shall find something more important to do. . . .like making dinner. Rande Is
