On new years eve, the power went out at the International Airport where I live, they restored it after a few seconds, but the luggage conveyors did not come back online for the rest of the day. The Airport Authority said it was not because they had set their clocks ahead in case of problems (as was rumored), but rather that an electrician had caused the interruption and had received minor burns (although they refused to release the name of the electrician).
