Did you say this person already reformatted the hard drive?
If so...
As I recall it, you want to start by making a DOS boot disk, or just find DOS on floppys and fire up DOS without installing it. This computer is probably too old to be able to boot off the CD player. Once you've done that and you get an A:\ prompt, you need to install Cd-rom driver to get that working so you can then load 95 from the CD.
