I never heard of anyone making money buying high and selling low, so yeah, it looks like (right now) that you've made a safe investment. It is very nice to support the market by buying low and tempering "overexuberance" by selling high. Hey,

No one would know it, but I rate my success primarily by if when I sell I actually am able to buy in at a lower price later. I'm in the market most of the time -- it's always a risk to sell stocks to me (what if they go up when I'm in cash?!). I really do like your approach. I'm going to work on my old 30-year Treasury bond vs. NYSE model and see what I can come up with.

This huge bond drop today must have you looking at putting even more money into bonds, doesn't it?
