Paul,

Long - unfortunately... but well in the money - even if we drop below 40 which I don't expect.

As for CBS Marketwatch - I'm sure they had no problem figuring out my position - I've been very clear about my it yet some feel that it's a schizoid position. Actually it only seems that way because I'm perhaps a little more realistic than some here on the thread.

I'm upbeat about PALM. I think COMS has some problems yet at these valuations it's worth buying COMS to get to PALM. The only time I've been negative on COMS is when I respond to posts that have irrational expectations about what will be left at COMS after PALM is spun-off. COMS has some products yet they continue to lose market share and are not a dominant player.

Let me try to be clear. I would never buy COMS at these prices (or even at 25) if COMS wasn't spinning off PALM. In fact I said that last summer. There was a time about 6-8 months ago when I thought COMS was a good takeover target but after getting a better understanding pooling issues that hope went away (although pooling goes away in April - so if someone wants to use pooling they'll have to make an offer before April - interesting - no?). I'm here because I think PALM has got a strong lead in the market....and yes, it concerns me greatly that Microsoft is waking up. I expected they would... I was hoping they'd wait a little longer.. and well... I didn't expect to see such a sucky market. I expected profit taking but this is a bit more than I'd expected.

So, well... yes, I'm long.. and I even bought more today. Perhaps I should've waited. Ah well. It's only 5% of my portfolio.

Oh.. and one other item. Investors take a somewhat different view than do day traders. I don't have the balls to day trade. :-) So, even if we take a smaking tomorrow this pup will move back to $50 before IPO day. I take it you bought some puts today???
