GTW warned, INTC did not warn. One thing we know, demand exceeded supply. You can deduce several scenarios that would fit what we know:

- There was tremendous demand, which exceeded Intel's capacity to ramp manufacturing. In this case Intel sold everything they could make, and will meet or exceed expectations.

- Intel had manufacturing problems and couldn't meet their projected demand for their mainstream chips. This is bad for Intel, and they will miss earnings.

Make your choice and place your bet. Intel is a just a company, not the Evil Empire that you and your friends banter about on the AMD thread. This is just business, not the end of the world. Take it easy.
