I loved your post, great balance.
In November my daughter informed me that my young grandson needed private school (too smart and active for the public school) and she could not afford it. I conferred with Uncle and Jerry M (my mentors) and figured out how to afford it. Then the Q took off and now it is no problem...but I was going to do it even if it was difficult (I'm proud of that).
When I went to visit for Christmas the youngster had already had a month at the new school. He is sooooo happy and loves it. I visited the school (it was closed but a teacher there gave me a tour) and could see why he loves it, what a happy, active place.
Money is wonderful.
I'm very thankful to all of you and to Qualcomm.
I should have known about Qualcomm a year and a half ago when they gave $18 million to the Padres stadium (another thing I hate: taxpayer funding of sports franchises, becoming more and more popular) : no company could afford that unless it was mighty sure of its success.
Best wishes to all of you.
