I finally called the WRS and found that the Kodak, Canon and Minolta's do have WRS software. The company's strategy is to become pervasive but not persuasive, i.e. to not become a brand name. The OEM will be the recognized brand. The product is a Kodak, not a Wind River camera. Very different than with MSFT. I guess this puts the OEM in the spotlight and WRS takes the backstage. It's a very modest place to be, but it kinda makes sense.
