Hi fudd:

Just AMD's way of showing deference to an aging Intel adversary...AMD decided to hold back Dresden production until the PweeIII 800 hit the retail channel...Too bad, seems they got caught up in the Intel hype and thought the PweeIII 800's would have been here by now...Don't think AMD'll be able to demonstrate its intended deference as demand for Athlons dictates that Dresden production can't remain on hold much longer, even if in deference to an aging warrior! Seems Hp and GTW want on board now! Hope Intel will appreciate the good intentions anyway!
