Windows is a complete mess but what that does is add cost. See, when you have nothing but money you can hack all day and all night and get it done. They can also add layers on top of the mess to present something more palatable. You're going to see the same mess in Corel's code, too. 'Speshly their warmed-over '80s bloatware. It's a result of letting DOS hackers with little or no education/experience with a real operating system, design and implement software. Too little too late, but Microsoft is now realizing what was widely known in the early '80s but thousands of Unix programmers, including Minux (forerunner to Linux and where Linux really gets its name) or even Xenix. These child-like, untalented DOS hackers got away with technological murder because they were writing crapware for a crap program loader (they called it an OS but that was a joke).

Linux will crush Windows, it's over for Microsoft but they don't know it yet.
