I would say that QNTS was discounted for many years out when the IPO appeared at 55 and change. At a 1B plus market cap, they have a lot to prove. I believe that they are more in competetion with companies like Remedy. Vantive has been bought out already, and I believe Clarify has also been bought by NT. Quintus is simply a CRM software product with a CTI piece and a Web/Email piece. It, by the way, is an excellent product. It is ponderous to work with from a technical standpoint, and it's not entirely intuitive, but it does provide some technical advantages in it's architecture.

These "good news" press releases are only announcements of pre-existing customers, and some new accounts. You have to ask yourself, do I want to pay for earnings many years out and hope that Quintus is able to deliver the goods? Are you confident that Quintus managment is able to service the existing accounts and do successful implementations of all new business? If you think so, I don't believe it's going to happen overnight. I don't believe this is going to be a "red hot". Looks like the manic part of the market mania is over for the moment. At over a billion in market cap, I believe Quintus has a lot to prove.
