1 million cash, 6.7 million shares = .15 per share, trading .70/.90 with a 30 % carried interest in SUBSTANTIAL Yukon gold play. AKA.V on the ORI,AKA,TYG thread with extensive discussion. They are receiving the cash in exchange for a land sale to the government It will be in the bank on the 30th of April. The letter has been signed by the government of Canada. I agree with your principle regarding money in the bank having exceptional value especially with financing drying up the way it has. In this case a carried interest must be viewed as more valuable than a working interest since that will be money they do not need to spend. They will not have to dilute their shares and so the cash per share will grow (they have very little overhead). "A penny saved is a penny earned" as old Ben Franklin used to say. The thread is worth a little browsing if you have not yet visited it. Also thanks for the contest - lots of fun.
