To Tim & Everyone: I just spent the last hour reading all of this evening's posts and links.

I'm saddened. Win, lose or draw we have a nice community here. As individual investors it would be ideal to share picks, thoughts, research, insights, whatever, with each other and this is the environment Tim has labored to create.

Using a code was simply meant to insulate us from floortraders and mm's who can and do manipulate the heck out of the markets. Accidental leaks are one thing, but having to fight/ignore/tolerate malicious behavior from SI members is quite another.

I have nothing but respect and admiration for Tim, Rande, Kim, Jenna, and others who have freely chosen to provide a forum and lead it. I respect and admire all those who post constructively and/or entertainingly; even opposing viewpoints can be helpful. There are so many wonderful people on this thread (and others) and many more lurkers who are learning about the internet and investing techniques.

And then there are those who seem bent on destruction, personal attacks or simple anarchy. For you I feel a mixture of embarrassment, anger and pity; like the work associate who gets too drunk at an office party, shouts obscenities, pukes on himself, and loses everyone's respect as well as a client for the company.

May God help heal whatever wounds or sicknesses you have. In the meantime, please don't jeopardize my hard-earned savings or those of my family, friends, or other investors on SI.

Turn off the computer, go outside, go to the gym, go to Church, read a book (remember those?), or take a nap. Please.

Sincerely, Mark Konrad
