Darrell, the below was from the Yahoo board: Intel is producing Linux machines by: inprise_is_b2b (44/M/AppleTown) 1/6/00 12:34 am Msg: 29995 of 29995 This is all very interesting: Microsoft gets nothing from an Intel-based Linux machine. Borland has the defacto best tools for building Linux applications and Microsoft has a 10% ownership stake in INPR. Borland is the only real competitor, in terms of technical software, to Microsoft, SO I predict a hostile take-over bid by Microsoft with an estimated price of $50 per share which comes out to approximatel three billion dollars which seems fair. IMHO.
