I just disagree with your completely un-informed interpretation of the
above statement and the childish bantering (FUD) your posts almost always
contain. "Operations begin in late 1998" means the equipment is installed and
engineers start the very first wafers. Again, these links were before the
switch to copper. It is reasonable to expect at least some change in the planned
schedule to bring up copper.
