LOL! incredible...it goes to show what a deep cultural and social importance the mania has achieved when this type of joke is actually fully understood by everybody...a few years back a similar type of joke could have been made in front of a gathering of brokers or mutual fund managers perhaps, but not during a run-of-the-mill press conference. it is also fascinating that the father of the bubble, said Al.com, is such a popular figure. never before did every American know the name of the Fed chairman... of course he recognized nothing. he simply allowed the printing presses to do overtime. hb
