With my knowledge of photonics rapidly approaching the ability to fill the head of a pin. I see jdsu's key to gorillahood or maintaining king with a bad attitude will be their ability to convert from individual components to producing cutting edge modules.
Sli has a slight lead in this area, however if jdsu's engineering is superior as widely thought. Then jdsu should be able to leap frog them shortly.
